Safety Series: Forklift/Powered Industrial Truck Training

Description

Forklift operators are required by OSHA to have formal/refresher training every three years. This class meets OSHA’s requirements per 29 CFR1910.178. Each participant who successfully passes the post-test will receive a certificate of completion card indicating that they have met the training requirements. Training will be provided on a rough terrain telehandler forklift. Training Includes: Pre-start inspections Operating limitations Steering and maneuvering Vehicle capacity and stability Operating surfaces Hazardous locations Ramps Please note: training will be held at Southeast Technical College 2320 N Career Ave, Ed Wood Building, Room 252.
